THE KIDS ARE READY PROGRAM

  • our mission

"The Kids are Ready" program is on a mission to cultivate a generation of socially conscious and justice-oriented individuals. We believe in providing a platform where young people can explore, question, and discuss matters of equity and justice, laying the groundwork for a more equitable and compassionate society.

  • OUR VISION

Our vision is a world where the youth are not just ready for the future but actively shaping it.

  • OUR VALUES

We value: a Youth-Centric Approach, Equity and Justice, Collaborative Learning, Activating Voices Beyond Tradition and Feedback-Driven Development.

How we started

In 2022, OAAARS consultants collaborated with the National Summer Learning Association and the Fiver Children's Foundation for an expanded focus on social justice within camps through the NSLA Fellowship. Together, they introduced the Justice Journal and Curriculum, fostering a play-centered learning space to empower young people to explore their social identity and cultivate tools for change.
